Eva Longoria Parker will visit "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer" at 4 p.m. today to discuss the commission to create a National Museum of the American Latino and lots of other issues facing Latinos now. She'll also talk about CNN's upcoming two-part documentary"Latino in America". For the latter series, the "Desperate Housewives" actress was interviewed by Soledad O'Brien about her role as an activist in Hollywood. As O'Brien points out in the series and the companion book, "Latino in America," Parker is involved in many projects supporting Latinos that could jeopardize her career as an actress. "She's traipsing all over California urging Latinos to be counted in the census so they can be fully represented in Congress and have their schools and hospitals funded," O'Brien says of Parker in the book. "She is advocating on behalf of organized labor. She is outspoken about one of the most controversial topics swirling around Latinos right now - whether immigration reform should include a path to citizenship." Listen to Parker's passionate response on "Latino in America" -- at 8 p.m. Oct. 21 and 22 on CNN. Meantime, Parker is expected to discuss most of the issues above on Blitzer's show today.
