Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria Parker brought the Hollywood glamour to White House on Tuesday, when they joined US president Barack Obama at a bash to celebrate Hispanic music.

The Latin beauties were among the 400 guests who gathered to enjoy sets by Gloria Estefan and band Aventura at the high-profile ‘In Performance at the White House: Fiesta Latina' event.

Longoria Parker, comedian George Lopez and actor Jimmy Smits hosted the glitzy bash.

Obama even accepted an invitation to dance with singer Thalia, after she approached the leader and asked, "Mr. President, with all due respect, will you dance with me?" reports The Daily Express.

The concert was part of a music series launched by First Lady Michelle Obama to celebrate the different genres and cultures.

Continuing her efforts in the nation’s capital, Eva Longoria got all glammed up as she spent the evening at the White House on Tuesday, October 13. Joining President Barack Obama and her fellow Latino celebrities, the “Desperate Housewives” beauty was on hand to host the In Performance at the White House: Fiesta Latina event alongside George Lopez and Jimmy Smits.

According to press reports, the concert included sets by Gloria Estefan and Aventura - with it being part of a music series launched by First Lady Michelle Obama. Earlier in the day, Eva was out on Capitol Hill in an effort to voice her support for the proposed National Museum of the American Latino.

Brightening up the nation’s capital, Eva Longoria looked radiant in red as she walked to a press conference on Capitol Hill in Washington DC on Monday, October 13. Having flown into town earlier in the morning, the “Desperate Housewives” actress made the trip out east to speak about Hispanic Heritage as part of National Hispanic Heritage Month.

She’s always up for a swanky evening out, and on 11 October Eva Longoria was spotted at the opening night of the 13th Annual Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival. The “Desperate Housewives” actress was all smiles as she arrived at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood to kick off the night’s festivities.

During the course of the evening, the Gabi Lifetime Achievement Award Gala honored the contributions of Latino actors and actresses. And of course, Ms. Longoria looked stunning as she mingled with fellow guests, sporting a black and silver halter-style dress with black heels.
