Eva Longoria Parker arrives at the grand opening of her Beso restaurant at Crystals at CityCenter on December 3, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. "Vegas has the most energy in the world," Longoria Parker previously told People of expanding her restaurant empire to Sin City. "It's a foodie city, which is great for us because of our menu. Everything we offer is pretty unique. Nobody in Vegas has anything similar."
It's Christmas on Wisteria Lane but it's not Santa who's flying in. A plane crash destroys the holiday cheer -- and somebody is going to die. ET's Kevin Frazier is on the set with "Desperate Housewives" stars Eva Longoria Parker and Felicity Huffman to try to sleuth out who does not survive. "They actually have a plane flying in and they're going to wreck it," Felicity tells Kevin. "I mean, it's not going to be the 'War of the Worlds,' but it'll be devastating nonetheless." Felicity adds that her first thought was she hoped she wasn't under the plane, and Eva points out, "Everybody's always on pins and needles on the mid-season episode, which this is, and the season finale because there's always a death." So who will it be? "Somebody is dying -- somebody dear to our hearts. Somebody a lot of people have a crush on," is all that Felicity will say. "We have a list going in the makeup trailer of all the deaths [on the show] and it's just pages and pages," Eva says. "Even the dog. There's a dog that died." The day that ET was on the set, Lynette (Huffman) puts her unborn babies' lives in jeopardy as she runs to save one of Gaby's (Parker) daughters, so it is possible that there is more than one casualty of the plane crash? One person who is going to survive for sure is Gaby, as Eva reveals info on how her character changes after the crash: "Obviously, she reevaluates her friendships, specifically with Lynette and her kids. She's going to have some fun stuff coming up with her kids. She's always trying to define motherhood. For her it's a hard job. I like the way she handles it with comedy, but I think she's going to take a new approach to it." "Desperate Housewives airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Eva Longoria-Parker believes God guided her into acting. The 'Desperate Housewives' star never dreamed about being an actress when she was at college and is convinced a higher force steered her onto the successful career path. She said: "Literally one day I said, 'I'm going to be an actress.' I never put a thought to it. I never said, 'When I graduate from college, I want to be an actress.' That thought never occurred to me. I have a strong faith in God and at that time I felt this amazing guidance coming from above and that gave me strength. It was this special force pushing me to come to Los Angeles and I said, 'OK, I'm not going to fight it.' But I always felt very protected. And I felt like this was the place I was meant to be." Eva, 34, also revealed she was only led into Hollywood because she entered beauty pageants to pay her way through college to learn to be a sports trainer. The screen beauty - who is married to basketball player Tony Parker - said in an interview with Prestige magazine: "I paid a lot of my way through college with beauty pageants. Not necessarily for the beauty, but for the money. Fifth place is free books, third place is books and tuition and first place was books, tuition and boarding. Really, that was my motivation. Through one of the pageants I won a trip to Hollywood to compete in this modelling competition. I graduated college and I thought, 'Oh, I'll do that trip now before I do my masters.' I was already enrolled and packed up, ready to get my masters, and I came to Los Angeles and I never left."
Eva Longoria goes to the gym four times a week in a bid to maintain her stunning figure. The Desperate Housewives actress - who was forced to laugh off rumours she was pregnant last year when she put on weight - knows regular exercise is the perfect way to keep off any unwanted pounds. A source said: "Eva hits the gym four times a week for an hour each time, and it's certainly paying off. She's got a tiny frame and any weight gain shows, but right now she's looking great. She says she feels happier when she's making the effort to keep in shape. She's delighted with her figure." Eva - who is married to basketball star Tony Parker - is also being careful with what she eats. The source added to Britain's Closer magazine: "She's existing on a diet of mainly fish, salads and fruit and raw veg, with the odd chocolate chip cookie for a treat. She also drinks water regularly."
When it comes to raising money for charity, celebrities are known to go overboard and Eva Longoria is no different! The stunner stripped down to skimpy bikini at a recent charity event. Flaunting her perfectly toned figure, the actress during a scavenger hunt on Miami beach, took part in the Rally for ‘Children With Cancer’ event. The sizzler raised £15,000 by taking a ride on a Jet Ski with a participant who cheerfully paid the moolah. Well not only does this beauty has an angel like face, she has a heart of one too.
