Eva Longoria Parker and her Desperate Housewives co-stars are set for a shocking glimpse into their futures when the ladies are aged 30 years for an upcoming special. Parker will play a poverty-stricken, demented, grey-haired grandma in the futuristic show, which will air in America on 3 January, while co-star Teri Hatcher will have eaten herself into obesity. Series creator Marc Cherry says, "The most expensive thing about the episode was Teri Hatcher's fat suit." Longoria Parker transformed inside and out, says Cherry: "The day Eva shot scenes, she showed up with strep throat, so she really sounds old. It was a lucky coincidence.'" | Eva Longoria was all business as she was spotted leaving an office in West Hollywood yesterday afternoon (December 16). After taking care of some loosen ends, the diminutive Desperate Housewives actress could be seen driving away in her seemingly oversized Bentley. Meanwhile, it apppears New Year’s Eve TV show wars are heating up. Fox has just announced that Eva as well as Kim Kardashian and Carmen Electra will make appearances on Billboard’s New Year’s Eve Live show airing from Las Vegas. Look for Eva to show off her new Las Vegas Latin steakhouse, Beso, and nightclub, Eve. Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta will perform.  |

• Longoria Joins Vegas New Year's Festivities •

Actress Eva Longoria will showcase her new Las Vegas restaurant and nightclub during Billboard’s New Year’s Eve special on FOX5. The event, broadcast from Mandalay Bay Beach, will be hosted by Carmen Electra and include musical performances by “American Idol” winner Kris Allen and Sean Kingston. Longoria opened the Beso steakhouse and Eve nightclub at the Crystals retail district earlier this month. Her appearance will further promote the debut of the $8.5 billion CityCenter resort complex. “Billboard’s New Year’s Eve Live” airs from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on FOX5. Performances will be live for east coast FOX viewers, but will be tape-delayed on the west coast. |
