While it may be difficult to top last year’s sexy ads, the Desperate Housewives star and her NBA player husband hold their own in these new, softer ads for the new season shot by Nino MuΡoz at Milk Studios in Los Angeles. We even got a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the photo shoot where a petite Longoria, dressed in a white mini trench, gets a boost from a box and mega-platform heels to match the tall frame of her hubby, who sports a grey zip-up jacket. Expect to see the Parkers’ new London Fog ads rolling out in March magazines. |

The actress teams up with Elton John's sweetie, David Furnish, and Godiva chocolates to raise funds for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Godiva, along with Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and Elton John's sweetheart, film and theater producer David Furnish, are sweetening up the choice to give your friends, family and significant others a box of chocolates on Valentine's Day. With Eva's restaurant Beso in LA (which she tells us she spends an average of four nights of week at), her new nightclub Eve in Las Vegas and several charitable endeavors, Eva says, "My days off are often busier than my days on set." Yet, Feb.1 she took time out of her hectic schedule to join Furnish, an executive board member of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, for a press conference at the Godiva Boutique in Century City, Calif., to announce the Elton John's AIDS Foundation's partnership with Godiva's "Give Love & Give Back" initiative a philanthropic twist on the chocolate maker's annual Valentine's Day Sweepstakes. Each $25 package of Godiva's Valentine's Day heart boxes will have an access code that Eva and David explained gives the recipient a chance to win an exclusive, all-expense-paid trip to NYC where the winner will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to walk the red carpet into the annual celeb-studded Elton John AIDS Foundation gala and present Sir Elton John himself with a $200,000 check on behalf of Godiva. Additionally, the winner will be allotted $20,000 to donate to the charity of their choice. At the event we caught up with Longoria, a veteran of Elton John's Oscar parties, and she said, "David is a very good friend of mine and when he asked me to be here today, I was absolutely tickled because I have an immense amount of respect for the work they do and the global outreach they have on so many people around the world." Eva also shared that when it comes to chocolate, "I'm not really picky. I love anything with caramel and milk chocolate and anything individually wrapped is dangerous for me." Commenting on Elton's Grammy performance with Lady Gaga the night before she gushed, "It was so amazing. What I loved the most was how starstruck Lady Gaga looked. She was like, 'I'm playing the piano across from Elton John!' I thought it was very humbling of her." As for how Furnish will spend Valentine's Day with Elton, he said, "Valentine's Day for us is about celebrating your love and a bonus of a little something sweet. We'll certainly be tucking into a box of chocolates." |

Eva Longoria Parker is sweet on chocolate and offering compassion to those in need. The "Desperate Housewives" star spoke at a press conference today announcing a partnership between the Elton John AIDS Foundation and Godiva Chocolatier. The actress helped introduce Godiva's Limited Edition True Love Heart Assortment and Valentine's Day Sweepstakes, which is projected to generate $200,000 for HIV prevention programs. "I really love this new Limited Edition Valentine's Day box that honors Godiva's partnership with the Elton John AIDS Foundation," Longoria Parker said at the Los Angeles media event. "It reminds us that love and compassion should always go hand-in-hand. I will definitely be gifting this to some of my loved ones this year and encouraging others to share a gift that gives back to those in need." The boxes start at $25 and come with an access code, which you can enter for a chance to win. So, what's the mouth-watering grand prize? The sweepstakes winner gets an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City in the fall, where he or she will receive red carpet treatment at EJAF's star-studded An Enduring Vision benefit. Past attendees of the annual benefit have included everyone from Sharon Stone and Courtney Love to Daniel Craig and Bill Clinton. At the event, the winner will present Sir Elton John himself with a $200,000 check on behalf of Godiva. At yesterday's Godiva Valentine's Day Partnership with the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Eva dished about the challenges of having her hubby Tony Parker play in the All-Star game on Feb. 14 and still make time for romance... The Desperate Housewives star doesn't need fancy chocolate, jewelry or flowers...She only has one requirement for the big day. "As long as I'm with my husband!" she told E! News. "Which kinda sucks sometimes, 'cause Valentine's Day always falls on All-Star weekend, and he's always made the All-Stars. So I'm usually with a bunch of big sweaty guys trying to squeeze in a romantic dinner." Eva also reveals that not only is Tony competitive on the court, he's also competitive in courting his lady. "We both actually have competitions with who's more romantic, but he's beaten me a lot of times," Eva said of her hubby. "He's really romantic...I'm really lucky." If Eva ever wants a sympathetic ear about her hubby's sporting schedule, she's got another famous fashionista hitched to a star athlete that she can turn tothe actress first got involved with the Elton John AIDS Foundation through the Beckhams. "When David and Victoria moved to L.A., Victoria and Eva became good friends. And she introduced us, and we got along like a house on fire," Elton John's partner, David Furnish, tells E! of how he originally began working with the Desperate Housewife. Talk about an A-list entourage. We're sure BFFs Eva and Posh will be at Elton's annual A-list Oscar charity fete this year. And hopefully this year, Tony and David can make it too!

Eva Longoria refuses to describe herself as sexy. The Desperate Housewives star says she doesn’t even associate herself with being attractive and feels there are other women in Hollywood who are far more deserving of the title. “If I had to describe myself in one word it definitely would not be sexy,” she says. “I don’t feel I am. I do not identify myself superficially but I think it is flattering that the world or people or men or women find me sexy because I think it is a lot of different definitions to a lot of people. “There are a lot more other women in my profession that earn that title more than I do.” |
