Perhaps it was a belated birthday celebration for Tony, who has some time to relax now that his team is no longer in the NBA playoffs. The couple later sipped drinks on a yacht during romantic couple time after her trip to Cannes and visit to the White House. They both have short breaks from work since Tony's finished basketball season and Eva wrapped Desperate Housewives earlier this month. |

| President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle hosted the second state dinner of his administration last night at the White House to celebrate an official visit from Mexican President Felipe Calderon and his wife Margarita. Michelle and Margarita got physical earlier in the day during a visit to a Maryland elementary school, but both women were dressed up, with Michelle in a Peter Soronen gown, to join a fresh-from-Cannes Eva Longoria. Beyonce Knowles had the honor of performing for the distinguished crowd with the Mexican act Rodrigo y Gabriela, after she also sang for the president last year at his inauguration. It was a lavish evening for all with a specially prepared menu from chef Rick Bayless, whose cooking Eva was especially excited to try. |

| The Cannes Film Festival has barely started, but Eva Longoria has already provided fashion followers with plenty to talk about. From floor-length beaded evening gowns to short funky minidresses, no trend is too extreme. But she excelled herself on 13 May, in a daring black leather bandeau top worn under an asymmetrical black mini dress covered in beads. The mini hugged her curves as the Desperate Housewives actress hit the French Riviera for a third day in a row. Eva reverted to a mini dress when she appeared on French TV show Le Grand Journal with host Michel Denisot, filming of which took place on Martinez beach. The actress looking stunning in the barely there one-shoulder number, with a leather section covering her chest. She had her hair styled into a flattering pompadour-style, and a pair of blue suede pumps. |
