"I can attest to the unique ways in which we, as Latinos, enrich this country with our contributions and compel people everywhere to progress and succeed. As such, I'm honored to be a part of such an important and relevant project. I believe that every Latino has an impact, however big or small. Now more than ever, it's time to help tell the stories that make this community admirable, to inspire others to be seen, be heard and be counted." -- Longoria Parker.
In support of the 2010 Census, Pepsi launched YO SUMO (I count), an initiative encouraging Latinos to not only participate in this year's census, but to also share their personal experiences, dreams and contributions as they help shape America. The stories will culminate in a documentary directed and produced by Eva Longoria Parker. Choice of a new generation: As a well-known advocate for the Latino community, and a successful actress who brings a breath of fresh air to a White Picket Fence neighborhood, Longoria Parker is the perfect fit for the project. Not just a one-cause woman: When she's not creating drama on Whisteria Lane, Longoria Parker is busy working on behalf of a variety of causes. Check here to download new videos from YO SUMO with Eva
